Beach Club card acceptance widening; still not universal on campus.

Every CSULB student is required to have a student I.D. card, but did everyone actually bother to read the information they include about the Beach Club Card?!
The Beach Club allows students and/or parents to make deposits to the student's Beach Club account to be used in various locations on and off campus.

Participating On-Campus Locations Include:

-University Bookstore
-University Art Store
-Convenience Stores
-Campus Copy Center, Copy Machines
-Campus Computer Labs
-Career Development Center
-Beach Hut
-Taco Bell Express
-Panda Express
-Surf City Squeeze
-Jodi Maroni's
-Chartroom
-Nugget Grill & Pub
-Nugget Pizza Delivery
-Outpost
-Starbucks®
-Parkside Dining Hall
-Residence Dining Hall
-Ground Floor
-Central Park
-Carl's Jr®
-El Pollo Loco

Noticeably absent from the list are Robeks, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Sbarros, and Subway. But with the exception of a sub-sandwich, there are similar Beach Club-accepting businesses on the list.

Robeks Juice Bar

Now comes the exciting part! Check out all the off-campus locations accepting Beach Club credits:

-Chronic Tacos
5525 E. Stearns Street
-CVS Pharmacy
1928 Lakewood Blvd
-Delightful Crepes Café
1190 Studebaker Rd
-Denny's

-Domino's Pizza
2221 Palo Verde Ave #B
-Legends Sports Bar & Restaurant

More off-campus businesses are expected to follow the trend in the fall 2009 semester, including Frogurtz Yogurt Bar on 7th street and Park. Would anyone else like to see Cha for Tea on this list?

Most surprsing and impressive on this list are the 2nd street bars and pubs, who seem to know a golden opportunity when they see one. Most avid Beach Club users are students whose parents regularly make deposits to their accounts; so why not spend it at your favorite Irish pub or sports bar in Belmont Shore?
